MUDRA YOGA STYLES & CLASSES

Each teacher has their own style, backgrounds of expertise and teaching experiences and we keep it open for the teacher to express their own yoga teachings to keep the practice alive for student and teacher. The thing we do ensure is fantastic and deeply dedicated teachers and classes and a peaceful and inspiring studio to carry out your yoga practice.

FLOW YOGA

'Flow Yoga' combines movement and breath work opening into creative moving and intelligently sequenced classes determined by our teachers own teachings and focuses. Building awareness and presence in the body, greater suppleness, flexibility and strength while also cultivating breathe and mental focus and clarity. Expect a full mind, body breath experience. Mostly open to all levels but email if unsure or just check in with teacher at the studio if new to the practice.

FLOW AND RESTORE

Expect a blend of 'flow yoga' followed by longer more nourishing poses or an extended deep relaxation. The perfect balance of yang and yin to find more inner space, ease and balance. A treat of a class.

ADVANCED YOGA

A class to be open too, a class to explore, be challenged, and awaken from stagnant habits. As it says this will be a more advanced style class (so more suitable for students with experience of the yoga practice and open to explore more elements of the practice). A class to dedicate to and shake things up a little.

MORNING FLOW

Early morning practice to bring a more focus and calm centred presence into your day. Taking some time for self in the morning to awaken and align the body, receive the energy of breath and stillness of mind. Tea is often served for early arrivals :)

SLOW FLOW

'Slow Flow' classes help to find space between and within poses while keeping an element of rhythm of a 'Flow Class'. A gentle pace with fewer transitions and more space to replenish. Also good for Beginners and for when you just need to slow down from the city and life pace.

MIDDAY YOGA

Take some time away from the home or office to reset and reconnect and refresh mind, body and breath. An hour class in the middle of the day to help shift/awaken energies and allow you to step back out into life with more collected and focused presence.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow paced, more meditative version of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a long period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with less muscular engagement. Expect a deep and meditative practice.

YOGA & SOUND HEALING

A treat of a class. 40mins of Flow yoga to release and free the body to help to aid the deep settling into 20mins of Sound healing. The studios grounded energetics and acoustics help this class experience to be a weekly class to cherish.

BEGINNERS YOGA

If a total beginner you could try Yin or Slow Flow or email for further advice and teacher recommendations we also hold workshops for Beginners from time to time.
